Who?

The VCMS chapter of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) is open to all student athletes, friends of athletes, and anyone with any level of interest in athletics. Current involvement in playing sports is not a requirement to participate! For more information on the national organization, click here.

VCMS FCA is sponsored by Mrs. Nancy Higgins and cosponsored by Caoch Westray and Lisa Crosby. The work of FCA is supported by the VCMS FCA Booster Club. The current President of the Booster Club is Mrs. Susan Hutto.

What?

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)

Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in America. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ. When?

-- FCA Student Leadership Meetings are held each Friday from 8:00 am - 8:30 am.

-- Huddles are held approximately once a month and are open to the entire VCMS student body. Huddles begin at 7:45 in the gym.

Where?

FCA HUDDLES will be held in the VCMS gymnasium.

Why?

To have fun, serve others, and make an impact for Christ

FCA Student Leader Captains

A student must have participated in at least one student leader training (winter retreat, summer camp, leadership retreat) and must be a current 7th or 8th grade FCA member in good standing to qualify as a student leader.
