Our vision is to use classroom technology to engage students in asking questions

and choosing tools to facilitate real world problem solving.

 

Each classroom has collaborative classroom components including a Promethean Interactive Whiteboard, multiple classroom computers, a projector, sound system, access to laptop learning carts, 'ActivVotes' & Activ Expressions student response systems, numerous technology programs and regularly updated web-based learning opportunities.

 

Electronic whiteboards facilitate active learning, not just passive reception of information. This technology not only allows students to be actively engaged in the learning process, but also helps them assist in directing their own learning.  

 

Online content is an integral part of providing a superior education for the students of Forsyth. Educators and students have the opportunity to view educational videos over the Internet via video-on-demand services including, Discovery Learning Streaming , Safari Montage, and BrainPop . Students and teachers throughout the school system make use of GALILEO: Georgia Library Learning Online and netTrekker to conduct research.
