|Connie McCrary, Principal|
|Mrs. Connie McCrary is in her ninth year as principal at Little Mill Middle School. She served as principal at Vickery Creek Middle for four years and as assistant principal at Vickery Creek Middle and North Forsyth Middle for five years prior to her current placement. Before becoming an administrator, she taught fifth and sixth grades with the Cobb County Schools.
Mrs. McCrary earned her B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Georgia. She holds middle grades certification in language arts and social studies from Kennesaw State University. She earned her Master’s in Administration and Supervision from the State University of West Georgia. She also earned her Education Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia. She and her husband, Greg, and their two daughters, Delaney and Beth Anne, reside in Cumming.
|Michael Sloop, Assistant Principal|
|Mr. Sloop was an environmental engineer with a national consulting firm in Atlanta for six years before he started teaching in 2002. He taught 8th grade science at Otwell Middle School for 9 years before becoming the instructional technology specialist (ITS) there for 1.5 years. While at Otwell, he was named Forsyth County’s Teacher of the Year in 2006, was on the Leadership Team and served as the Grade Level Chair and Science Department Chair.
In January 2013, Mr. Sloop joined the Big Creek Elementary staff as the Assistant Principal. Mr. Sloop is excited to be a Little Mill Mustang and reconnect with his “roots” in middle school. Throughout his career, Mr. Sloop has been committed to doing whatever it takes to help children love their learning experience, be nurtured and challenged, and succeed in reaching their greatest goals. Mr. Sloop seeks to serve the students, teachers, and parents with selflessness and compassion and recognizes the importance of the school-home relationship to meet individual student needs.
|Beth Loedding, Assistant Principal|
|Mrs. Beth Loedding has been a member of the Little Mill family for six years, but is starting her first year as Assistant Principal at Little Mill Middle School. She served as Graduation Coach for two years, and as a Special Education teacher for four years before taking on this role. Before coming to Little Mill, Beth taught Special Education at Chestatee Elementary School and South Forsyth Middle School. She also worked in Fulton County and at a state residential facility providing educational experiences to students with special needs.
Mrs. Loedding received her Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Furman University and her Master's Degree from Georgia State University. She obtained her leadership certification from Kennesaw State University. Currently Beth is pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Special Education from Walden University. She and her husband Erik live in the North Forsyth community and have two children, Emily and Justin.
