It's a joy that I get to work with amazing children! Ever since I was a little girl in St. Louis, Mo (yes, I'm a HUGE Cardinals fan), I've wanted to be a teacher.  I've taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades in Georgia and San Antonio, TX.  When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my two daughters, Scout and Harper, and reading.  I look forward to new adventures in my classroom every day!

What you do every day means more than what you do every once in a while."  This is the thought that runs my classroom community and teachings.  A smile and a hug go a long way.  I grew up on the coast of Georgia and lived there until going away to college in Milledgeville, Georgia. I taught in Henry County before moving to Cumming to start and raise my family. I stayed home for 10 years to raise my two children; a daughter and a son.  As soon as I could leave the home, I started teaching at Shiloh and realize each day that teaching is one of my greatest passions
