Kristen  Kristen Durant

Hi!  My name is Kristen Durant.  My family moved to Forsyth County from Maryland. I received an undergrad degree in Political Science at University of Maryland, and then Johns Hopkins University for my Masters, where I switched things up and decided I wanted to teach!  My family considers ourselves lucky to be part of the Coal Mountain community, as we live in the district and my children all go to school on the North/Coal Mountain campus.  In my free time, I enjoy watching my children, Jake, Mallory, and Ella play their sports-everyone in my family loves lacrosse. In our time off of sports, we enjoy spending time on Lake Lanier.   I am excited to be at Coal Mountain for another year of teaching fourth grade and looking forward to a great year!

Anna  Anna Wildes

I am Anna Wildes! My third year “on the mountain”, is one I’m looking forward to greatly!  I began teaching in my hometown of Atlanta in 2005, and after seven years, my family relocated to Forsyth county.  My husband, an English teacher at NFHS, and my two sons (six and one) are enjoying being just around the corner from a beautiful lake, down the street from the cows, and away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.  This year, I’m looking forward to sharing a classroom with another crew of awesome Miners who will help make CMES the place to be!
