Hello! My name is Emily Beusse and I am starting my second year of teaching at CME in 5th grade. Coal Mountain has been a wonderful place to begin my teaching career, and I look forward to many more years here. I grew up in the Dawson/Forsyth area and love teaching in it. Outside of school, I love running, attending church, and spending time with my fiancé and family. We plan to get married in April and stay in the Forsyth area! I come from a family of teachers and am happy that I’m continuing the trend. I look forward to this next year and the students that I will have the opportunity to teach!
My name is Christa Post. I attended the North Forsyth cluster as a student and am proud to be giving back to my home community. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with degrees in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. This is my second year teaching on the mountain and I am very excited to be part of the fifth grade team. I live in Cumming with my nine-year-old daughter, Emma, who will be entering fourth grade here on the mountain, I am looking forward to an amazing year with a fantastic group of 5th graders.
My name is Melanie Prince. I am excited about teaching 5thgrade this year at Coal Mountain! This is my 15th year teaching in Forsyth County Schools! My husband, Tim, and I have two amazing boys. Jake is an upcoming 6th grade Wildcat at NFMS and Braden will be here in 2nd grade. When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me at the baseball field cheering on my boys! I am looking forward to another fabulous year at CMES!
