National Honor Society - NHS
 
 
National Honor Society Club Sponsor: Ms. Meghan Lang & Ms. Mary Sisson
 
Club Overview:  The National Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Junior & Senior students who have a 3.8 or greater GPA are invited to apply at the beginning of each school year. 
 
Club Meeting Times: General meetings are held on Fridays, when announced, and the individual committees meet as is necessary.
 
Club Activities or Events: The NHS provides a wide range of service opportunities and social events during the course of the year.

Invitations to apply for candidacy will be sent out by Monday, August 29th and student candidacy forms are due Friday, September 9th. Late and/or incomplete forms will not be accepted. Please return to Ms. Lang in room 2893 or Ms. Sisson in room 1805.
