The Facilities Department is a customer-oriented, service organization that is strategically organized into the following functions:

Administration

Each of these functions operates with a shared vision to exceed expectations and be respected for the quality of our work and the excellence of our people.

The department’s mission is to efficiently and professionally provide safe, clean, and functional facilities and grounds. We currently have 35 school campuses providing 2,308 instructional units and 7 administrative support buildings.  All this comprises 5,024,680 square feet on 1,594.4 acres.  A staff of only 28 skilled craftsmen, including a PM Crew, maintain all the campuses.  For the 2011-2012 school year 56 portable classrooms will be occupied.

 
After the completion of 2012-13 redistricting, Facilities will update the district's enrollment projections and future facilities plan. Please note that at this time there is no funding for new construction or renovations, with the exception of Kelly Mill ES which will open in August 2012.
