    Commitment to Excellence
All members of the FCS family play a crucial role in our work. In FCS we are a team - the Board, students, staff, parents and community. We are committed to excellence and becoming the most effective school district in the nation. Work environment plays a vital role in job satisfaction. It's no small advantage to work with people you can respect, and our staff are distinguished by their uncommon dedication to teaching, inside and outside the classroom.

    Facilities and Support
Despite the downturn in the economy, our school system is still growing. We are now home to 34 schools, all of which have been funded by a progressive community that supports quality education for all students. Our community has approved numerous bond and 1% sales tax referendums to construct new schools and keep our older schools up to the same standards as newer schools. Also, these funds have purchased land for new schools, provided internationally recognized technology, such as our interactive whiteboards in every classroom (largest installation in the world), as well as safety upgrades and new buses.

    Community Life
As one of the nation's top 10 fastest growing communities, Forsyth County's growth and increasing cultural diversity have had a positive impact on our schools. Highly motivated students come to our classrooms locally and from all over the world. Our students bring with them support from home and an excitement that keeps teaching fresh and new.
