Board Announces New Principal for VCE

Last night at the Board of Education meeting, Kristan Morse was appointed Principal of Vickery Creek Elementary for the 2012-2013 school year. Kristan Morse currently serves as Principal at Silver City Elementary School. With nine years of educational leadership experience, Mrs. Morse is prepared to assume the role of Principal of Vickery Creek Elementary, effective July 1, 2012. Ms. Morse is a dedicated and success oriented professional. She has the ability to empower teacher leaders, ensure high quality teaching and learning, and collaboration with the community. She has a deep commitment to meeting student needs and fostering an environment where educators work together in a continuous pursuit of excellence.
