Each year, Sawnee EMC presents Bright Ideas grants to teachers across Forsyth County Schools.  The grants are awarded in the first, third, and fourth quarter of each year after an application process.  The amount given to each recipient varies by project, but in the fourth quarter of 2016, Sawnee EMC gave nine teachers a total of $11,717 for a variety of classroom projects.  The projects that have been awarded over the years include rolling chemistry labs, robotics, solar cars, STEM, books for history and ELA, outdoor gardens, and forensic labs, among many other areas.  Thank you to Sawnee EMC for your continued support of FCS!
