    What is EIP?

    EIP stands for Early Intervention Program.

         “The Early Intervention Program is designed to serve students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level.”  eipgroup

         “The purpose of the EIP program is to provide additional resources to help students who are performing below grade level to obtain the necessary academic skills in order to reach grade level performance in the shortest time possible.”

    Tamara Hales
    I'm Tamara Hales. This is my 16th year at Vickery Creek Elementary and my fourth year teaching EIP. I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and Global Studies. I was born and raised in Georgia.  I have been married to my husband, Jerry, for 9 years. I have a daughter name Annabelle, who is a 2nd grader at VCE, and a son named Atticus, who is 4 years old and starting preschool. I enjoy reading, singing, playing the piano, and watching sports, especially Georgia Tech Football.  I am looking forward to an amazing school year!

    Kristen Trombino

    My name is Kristin Trombino; this will be my twenty-first year teaching.  Before moving to Georgia, I taught in Rhode Island.

     I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Auburn University.  I have been married for twenty-three years. We have a daughter at West.  As a family, we enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time on the lake or at the pool.  

     I am thrilled to be teaching EIP for K-2 in Math and Reading.  It is going to be a fantastic year!
