I am so excited to call Big Creek Elementary my new home, Wildcats!!!!

I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia State University for grades Pre-K through 5th, along with my Gifted Endorsement and I am ready to welcome you all to a new year!!!

I live in Ball Ground with my twin daughters, goldendoodle, Sunnie and cat, Poe. I love to learn about anything new, and am an avid reader. I enjoy painting and many types of crafts as well. My favorite thing to do is to plan engaging and exciting lessons for my students! I also love to grab a coffee and snuggle with my dog. I am the lucky mom to four kids. Two sons in college and twin daughters in 8th grade.

Hi Wildcats! My name is Lisa Runion, and I am excited to be at Big Creek!

I have a BBA in finance and an MEd from North Georgia College and State University. I also have an education specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. I am certified P-8, math, science, gifted, and special education. I started teaching in 2002 in Gwinnett County and came to Forsyth County in 2011. I have experience teaching all grade levels with the exception of first.

I grew up in Gwinnett County where the majority of my family still lives. My husband and I live in Forsyth County with our two daughters. We have a Brittany Spaniel named Auggie.

In my free time, I enjoy anything Disney, photography, scrapbooking, quilting, and designing shirts, signs, and other items with my silhouette.
