This year I am the school counselor for grades third though fifth at Kelly Mill. I am very excited to be working with all of you this year! My role at Kelly Mill as a counselor is to support you and help you work through any problems you might be having so you can do your best both in and outside of school. I will see each of you during our Guidance Class specials, while I might see some of you either by yourselves or in small groups. Even if things are going well and you just have something special to share, stop by and say hello!
About Me: I am originally from Lorton, Virginia, right outside of our nation's capital, Washington D.C. I graduated from Virgina Tech in 2007 where I studied Sociology and Psychology. Go Hokies! I attended The George Washington University where I earned my master's degree in Education and Human Development with a concentration in School Counseling in 2009. This is my 11th year as an elementary school counselor and my 6th year at Kelly Mill. In my free time I love playing, recording and producing music, watching movies, practicing photography and videography, hiking, and exercising.

Hello Colts. I am the newest counselor at Kelly Mill Elementary. I am excited and happy to be here. I will be working mostly with kindergarten through second graders this year, but I look forward to being a family with all of you. I will work with individual students and do some groups as well.
A little about myself: I have been a school counselor for 20 years. I have worked in Texas, Kansas, Illinois and now Georgia. I love to work with people and to learn new things. In my spare time I like to read, play tennis, take walks and play with my new granddaughter, Lilly.
Come by and see me anytime and introduce yourself. I am here for you!

Hello. I am going to be teaching all guidance lessons for KME students. I look forward to working with you all again and getting to know all of the new KME Colts. My role here is to help you grow and develop, socially, emotionally, and academically. Sometimes times get tough and I would like to be there to lend and hand and help you with any problems and situations you may be working through. I would also love for you to just come by and tell me about your weekend or something great going on with you. I will have lunch with you, work in small groups, or talk with you individually. I am here to help.
About me personally: I was actually born in Savannah, GA. I moved around quite a bit. I lived in Jacksonville, AL through elementary years and then we moved to Logansport, IN and finally to Michigan my senior year in College. I attended Western Michigan University and earned a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education in 1999. In 2000, I moved back to GA and taught in Fulton County for 13 years. I taught 7 years in 5th grade and then I moved to middle school and taught 3 years in 6th grade and 3 years in 7th. I obtained a school counseling degree in 2009 from the University of West Alabama and started working at Kelly Mill in the year 2013-2014. This is my fourth year as a counselor and I truly love it. Especially working with such a great staff, students, and parents. This is a great place to be.
