Leila Fondo K-1 Counselor This will be Leila Fondo's 3rd year at Chestatee Elementary and her 13th year as an educator. Ms. Fondo graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Psychology. She later graduated from Troy State University with a Master's Degree in Counseling and Human Development. Ms. Fondo has had the honor of being a high school counselor both in Georgia and Florida. Prior to entering the field of education Ms. Fondo was a mental health counselor for children from the ages of 3 to 17. She is thrilled to be the Kindergarten and 1st grade school counselor for Chestatee Elementary. 722265 firstname.lastname@example.org Cara Applewhite 2-3 Counselor Cara Applewhite is excited to begin her second year at Chestatee. Mrs. Applewhite graduated from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA (no connection to Elvis) and earned her Master's of Education in Counseling from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She taught elementary music and fourth grade for a combined total of nine years in Texas before moving to Georgia with her husband. She joined the Chestatee family last year as a member of the fourth grade teaching team and is looking forward to moving in to the role of counselor this year. 722312 email@example.com
Robin Mitchell is thrilled to be joining the compassionate counselors at Chestatee Elementary. She is transferring from Coal Mountain Elementary and has been working in the Forsyth County School Family for fourteen years. Ms. Mitchell earned her degree in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Montevallo. She is a dedicated lifelong learner and is completing her Master’s of Education in School Counseling through Valdosta State University. Ms. Mitchell is excited about building relationships with her fourth and fifth grade students and teachers on their journey together.
