My name is Katie Bennett, and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade DLI at Brandywine! I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2006 and have taught in Forsyth County ever since. Along the way, I earned my Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University as well as endorsements in reading, mathematics, dyslexia, and gifted education. I love sharing my passion for learning with students and witnessing their growth during the school year.

My name is Tiffany Brown, and I am very excited to be starting my 23rd year of teaching at Brandywine Elementary. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Childhood Education and Piedmont College with a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades in Forsyth County. I am looking forward to an incredible year helping my 5th graders along their educational journey. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 30 years, and we are blessed with two wonderful sons and an amazing daughter-in-law.

My name is Casey Cowart and I am so excited to continue my teaching career at Brandywine! I graduated from Kennesaw State University with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and received my master's degree from Georgia Southern University in Curriculum and Instruction. I was in fifth grade when I decided that I wanted to become a teacher, so it has been very special to help my fifth graders reach their full potential. I love the beach, hiking, being outside, and spending time with my husband and friends. I'm so excited for another great school year at BWE!

My name is Chrissie Fennimore and I joined Brandywine 2 years ago - teaching 5th grade. I was raised in Gwinnett County and attended college at both Kennesaw State University and the American College of Education, where I am completing my doctorate. I have a woodshop and a little business making farmhouse furniture and home decor. I am also a classically trained opera vocalist and currently writing a children's book. I am the mommy of a special needs boy here at BWE, Connor, and you will most likely hear about him in our first conversation together. I look forward to seeing/meeting you!

My name is Sue Jones, and I've been teaching for 26 years. I started out teaching 5th grade at a Catholic School in Florida, and then taught 4th and 5th grade at a private Military Academy in Florida before moving to Georgia in 2006. Since living in Georgia, I worked at Corley Elementary School in Gwinnett County, teaching in both the 4th and 5th grades, and have been teaching 5th grade at Brandywine for the last 8 years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree at Florida State University in 1997, and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design and Technology at Walden University in 2012. I moved to Forsyth County in July of 2016 to be closer to my family. I love being out on Lake Lanier, traveling, going to trivia, and spending time with my niece and nephews.

My name is Cindi McGuire, and I'm very enthusiastic to be beginning my 19^th year in my teaching career. I have experience across many grade levels but have spent the majority in 5^th - My passion/my love! Prior to teaching, I spent 10 years in the corporate world in the area of Human Resources/Compensation/Benefits. It was there that I met my husband of 36 years. We have 3 grown children and have been blessed with 4 grands. I currently hold 3 degrees - BA Psychology/Business, a Masters in Elementary Ed, and an Educational Specialist. Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In my free time, you will find me walking, gardening, reading and "finding my beach!"  Let's make this year our best yet!

I was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia. This is my 11th year teaching, and I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. My husband, Andrew, and I have a 4-year-old daughter, Olivia, who is currently in her princess era, and a corgi named Admiral. We love to watch movies and find new places to eat! I am so excited to join the Badger Tribe!
