I am so excited to join the CES family! I am originally from Alabama but moved to GA from Texas 8 years ago. I graduated nursing school from Shelton State and also attended the University of Alabama for Criminal Justice. I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 9 years and we have two sons, Austin (7) who is going into 2nd grade in the DLI program at CES, and Collin (4) who will be starting Kindergarten in the DLI program at CES next school year! After work, you can typically find me in a baseball dugout, on a basketball court, or on the sidelines of a soccer field supporting my sons at their sporting events. During any free time we have, we try to make it to Alabama football games, the beach, or the lake as often as possible. I am coming to CES with a nursing background that includes supervising a Dementia/Alzheimers unit; being on the Emergency Response Team while working Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Women's Health, and Mental Health for refugees and the underprivileged for the State of Texas; emergency medicine at busy urgent care as Team Lead Nurse for 5 years, and most recently, the school nurse at Whitlow Elementary where I had the pleasure of caring for so many precious children. While I will miss my Whitlow family, I can't wait to get started and to meet everyone at CES!
