Kellie Askew I’m very passionate about being a teacher and love what I do. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Georgia, and received my Master’s Degree from Piedmont College. I love teaching first Grade and getting to know my students. I am happily married to James and we have two wonderful sons Dillon & Justin. I have many years of experience teaching primary grades, and I absolutely adore my job! I love building relationships with my students, and creating a positive learning environment in my classroom! I received my undergraduate in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College and State University and my masters from Kennesaw State University. I started my wonderful teaching journey after graduating in 2012 and have taught 3rd grade, 5th grade, 2nd grade and 1st grade. I have an amazing husband, two precious boys and a furry child named Penny- she is a Goldendoodle. We love spending time outside with them when it is warm. I graduated from the University of Georgia with my undergraduate and masters in Early Childhood Education. Go dawgs! I taught Kindergarten in Dekalb County for a few years, but moved back to Forsyth County with my husband and two dogs. I love being a Poole's Mill pirate and I am excited for another 1st grade year ahead!

I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood/Special Education with a Reading Endorsement and I also have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with an ESOL endorsement. I absolutely love teaching first grade! I enjoy creating a classroom that feels like a home away from home and making learning fun! Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends, going to the beach to look for shark teeth, and gardening. I am a graduate from the University of North Georgia with Bachelor's of Science degrees in Elementary and Special Education alongside of a reading endorsement. In my classroom, students will be loved, valued, and seen as the incredible individuals that they are. I absolutely love people and am excited to share that love with my students! In my spare time you can find me with my incredible husband, Nick, exercising or spending time at my church. This will be my second year teaching first grade at Poole's Mill and I am so blessed to continue my teaching career at this incredible school!

I am a graduate from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education. I was born and raised in Cumming, GA. I graduated from Forsyth Central High School, and I am so excited about teaching in my hometown of Forsyth County! I spent my high school and college years at Primrose School of Cumming West to gain experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. I love everything Disney and spending quality time with family and friends. I am looking forward to building strong relationships with my students and their families this school year!
