Madison Hoza
Hi everyone! My name is Madison Hoza. I am happy to be joining the Nighthawk Nation as a 3rd grade teacher!
I have been teaching since 2018! I have taught 3rd and 5th grades in Cobb and Forsyth counties. I received my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Georgia College, my master’s degree and gifted endorsement from Kennesaw State and a specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education.
I live in Cumming with my husband Sam and our two dogs, Willow and Kona. Sam and I got married in June 2022! When I am not in the classroom, I love shopping, traveling, reading, and being outdoors. I am looking forward to building a new community and meet my future New Hope students and families!

Claudia Knight
Hello! My name is Claudia Knight, and I am so happy to join Nighthawk Nation!
I attended the University of West Georgia and graduated with my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I will be going back to school for my master's in the fall of 2023. Most recently, I was the 3rd grade Spanish dual language immersion teacher at Kelly Mill Elementary.
I was born in Lima, Peru. I call Forsyth County home as I attended middle and high school here. My husband and I have two children, Amelia and Hudson, and two pets, Luna and Willie. I love to shop, spend time with my children and travel to new places!
I cannot wait to meet all of those sweet faces that will walk in the door in August and help New Hope Elementary become a place that feels like home!

Jessica Korte
Hi, there! I'm Jessica Korte, and I'm so happy to be joining the 3rd grade team at New Hope!
I graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Last year, I taught 3rd grade at Northwood Elementary School in Fulton County.
I am originally from Dearborn, Michigan, but in 2007, my husband and I decided to move to Florida. I began my teaching career in Ft. Myers. Four years ago, we moved to Georgia to be closer to our families. We have 2 children, Brendan (12) and Kylie (10). In my free time, I love hanging out with my family, going on day trips and relaxing at home.
I'm VERY excited to be part of building our New Hope community! I can't wait to get started!

Sam Spota
Hi, I'm Sam Spota, and I cannot wait to meet our Nighthawk families!
I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Then, I earned a master's degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. Last year, I taught 3rd grade at Midway Elementary.
I was born in Atlanta, moved to Colorado for a time, and then returned to Forsyth County. I attended Forsyth County Schools, including Vickery Elementary and Middle, as well as West Forsyth High School. I love to spend my free time with friends and family, and attend sporting events. I am an Auburn University fan (War Eagle!) but more importantly, GO BRAVES!!
I am looking forward to building a brand new culture at New Hope that our students will love!

Kinsey Stroup
Hello! My name is Kinsey Stroup, and I'm so excited to be a part of building the New Hope community!
I have an Early Childhood Education bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) and most recently taught 2nd grade at Brookwood Elementary.
I grew up in Forsyth County and attended both Big Creek and Settles Bridge Elementary schools. I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, attending UGA football games in the fall and traveling!
I cannot wait to meet all of the new families I will be working with. It is going to be so fun to be a part of Forsyth County history! It is truly an honor for me to get to be a part of the inaugural staff of New Hope.

Mandy Thompson
Hi, there! My name is Mandy Thompson, and I'm a 3rd grade teacher at New Hope!
I have my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood General and Special Education with a Reading endorsement from the University of North Georgia. I am beginning my Master’s at Georgia Southern University this year in Curriculum and Instruction. I was most recently a 2nd grade teacher at Kilough Elementary in Dawson County.
I was born and raised in Forsyth County. I attended Matt Elementary, Liberty Middle, and graduated from West Forsyth High School. I really love being creative and artistic. I enjoy being with my family and friends. I also love to play with my Golden Doodle puppy, Mae.
I can't wait to establish a welcoming and inclusive environment at New Hope. I know that we are going to be a family. We are going to make such an impact in so many lives!

Tyler Touchton
Hello, my name is Tyler Touchton, and I'll be teaching 3rd grade this year.
I am a graduate of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. I most recently taught 4th grade at Argyle Elementary in Clay County, Florida.
I am orginally from Jacksonville, Florida. I have recently relocated to the Forsyth County area and will be getting married in October! In my free time, I enjoy playing the bass guitar, hiking, and working out.
I am really looking forward to meeting all my new students and the new staff at New Hope. It's going to be a fantastic year!
