Hello! My name is Kate Rounds, and I'm so happy to join the New Hope family!

I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Valdosta State University and loved it so much I stayed to earn my master's degree in School Counseling. I have most recently been the counselor at Big Creek Elementary.

I grew up in Suwanee, where most of my family still lives, but I now live in Brookhaven and love it. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially if it's outdoors. I love to read, and if I'm on the beach, that's a huge plus!

I'm looking forward to working alongside awesome educators to create an incredible school focused on relationships and students! Go Nighthawks!

Hi, there! My name is Kaitlyn Vargas, and I'm one of the counselors at New Hope!

I have my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville. After graduation, I attended Mercer University in Atlanta to earn my master's in School Counseling. I was most recently the 7th grade counselor at South Forsyth Middle School.

I grew up in Marietta, but have lived for almost six years here in Forsyth County. My husband and I have 3 crazy little boys, Mason, Lincoln and Walker. Our oldest will be a Nighthawk with me! We also have 2 dogs, Kosmo and Kane. We are huge Braves and Auburn fans! We also love to do things outdoors, work on DIY projects around our house and also cheer on our kids at their sporting events.

I am so excited to get to know all of our staff, families and sweet little kiddos at New Hope. I can't wait to be part of the Nighthawk family!
