Hello, I'm Chrisoula Hadjisimos, and I'll be teaching EIP at New Hope!

I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Lipscomb University, as well as my master's of Education from the University of Georgia. I also have my Curriculum and Instruction Specialist degree from Piedmont University and my Tier 1 Leadership Certificate from the University of North Georgia. I've taught 1st-4th grades, and next year will be my 15th year teaching! Most recently, I taught 3rd grade at Whitlow Elementary.

My parents immigrated from Greece early in their marriage and raised my two brothers and me in Atlanta. My two daughters and I moved to Cumming a few years ago and we love the community we have found here. I enjoy being with friends and family, watching my girls play soccer and basketball, and just spending time outside. I also love reading a good book, journaling and cooking.

I'm looking forward to creating a warm and welcoming home for our new Nighthawks to learn and grow! 

My name is Lainey Newell, and I can hardly wait for the school year to get started!

I have an undergraduate degree from High Point University. My certification includes elementary education and middle grades language arts and social studies. I grew up in a small town on Long Island, NY called Hauppauge. I met my husband of 33 years in college, and we have three amazing daughters, two dogs and two cats. We lived on the east coast of Florida for most of my career and moved to Forsyth County about a year ago to be closer to our extended family. I love reading, cooking, pickleball and game nights!

I believe teaching is not just a job, but a privilege. I feel so honored and fortunate to be part of this amazing team at New Hope.
