Hi, there! I'm Robin Tomes, and I'll be teaching Gifted classes at New Hope!

I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education with a Mathematics endorsement. I returned to UGA and received my master's in Education with a Gifted endorsement. Last year, I taught 3rd grade at Big Creek Elementary.

After living in Athens and teaching at J.J. Harris Elementary Charter School, I moved to Forsyth County in 2014 when I married my husband, Jessie. We have a daughter, Adeline, and a beagle mix, Bailey. I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, spending time with family and friends, basketball and cheering on the Bulldogs!

I am looking forward to opening a new school, meeting our wonderful families, and joining a new community of Nighthawks!
