Hello, Nighthawks! I am Slavka Juresic, and I will be taking good care of our new school!

I am originally from Bosnia. I have lived here in the United States for 25 years! I have been working as a custodian for Forsyth County Schools for almost 17 years, and I have been the Head Custodian at Big Creek Elementary for the past 14 years.

My husband is Tonco, and we have 2 children. My daughter is Ana and she is married and has two little girls who are 10 and 8. My granddaughters are my world! I also have a son, Ivan. I truly believe the saying that "Home is wherever your family is!" Family is my favorite thing but I also enjoy being outdoors and hiking in my free time.

I am so excited to join the New Hope family! I will help make New Hope a safe and happy place for students, parents and staff!

Hello, Nighthawks! My name is Olivia Garcia Aguilera. I am one of the custodians here at New Hope. I was most recently a custodian at Kelly Mill Elementary.

My family and I are originally from Mexico. I have three children and a dog named Pluto. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and going for walks.

I am most looking forward to meeting everyone and working in my community where I live.

Hello, my name is Jack Hamrick, and I'll be one of the custodians at New Hope! I am looking forward to making everyone's day run smoother.

I am originally from Tampa, Florida. I graduated from high school with plans to become a policeman, completing almost a year of criminal justice at the local community college. I was fortunate to be accepted for employment at Delta, where I worked for 43 years and retired in 2020. I guess that makes me a graduate from the University Of Hard Knocks.

I have been married for 32 years to my wife, Debbie. We have a daughter and 2 grandsons (6, 11) and a granddaughter (9). We often babysit our grand dog, Franklin (Australian Labradoodle) who looks like a walking stuffed toy! I love cooking on the grill, fishing and listening to classic rock music.

I am looking forward to working at a school and seeing children in their different stages of learning. They can be so funny and so brutally honest in the things they say!

Hi, my name is Sean Culligan. This is my first year working for Forsyth County Schools. I am originally from Atlanta and lived in Idaho and California before moving back to Georgia. I attended South Forsyth High School and Georgia Southern University. I have two sons (24, 21) and a daughter (11) who attends Otwell Middle School. I enjoy soccer, trivia and watching football. I’m happy to be one of the custodians here at New Hope, and I look forward to being a positive male influence for our students during their time at school.
