My name is Kimberly Davis and I am excited to be working with your children. I am thrilled to continue new traditions with the Sawnee community. My name is Keith Whitaker and I am excited about starting my 5th year as a member of the Sawnee family. I have been an educator for 28 years, the last 17 of those spent in Forsyth County. I spent 6 years as a math teacher at North Forsyth High School and worked as an administrator at Sawnee Elementary, North High, Matt Elementary before returning to Sawnee three years ago.  I earned my undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Florida State University.  In 2011, I earned a Masters of Education in Leadership from Kennesaw State University.  My wife, Audra, is a Forsyth County native and together we have 3 children - Reese, Payton, and Palmer.  It is a pleasure to work with the Sawnee Community and I am excited to welcome our students and families back for the 2022-2023 school year.  

I am a University of Alabama alumni with a degree in Elementary Education. Roll Tide!  I also hold a Master’s degree in Special Education from Georgia State University and a Leadership endorsement from the University of Georgia.  My 32-year career in Education spans multiple school systems, including Duval County (Jacksonville, Fl), Atlanta Public Schools, Gwinnett County, and Forsyth County, teaching general and special education in elementary and middle grades. I have spent 12 years as an Assistant Principal at Brookwood Elementary and prior to that, 6 years as an administrator in Gwinnett County. This will be my second year at Sawnee Elementary and I am very excited to continue building relationships with the Sawnee family.  

I am excited about joining the Sawnee family!  I am originally from Indiana but moved to Georgia 15 years ago. My wife is a wonderful fourth-grade teacher and we have two children that attend school with her. I began my career in Fulton County Schools, where I taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. I have also served as a STEM Program Specialist and an Elementary school Assistant Principal in Fulton before moving to Forsyth to serve as Assistant Principal at Kelly Mill Elementary. I am looking forward to a great year!
