    The mission of gifted education is to maximize the potential of gifted and talented students by providing programs and services that accommodate their advanced learning styles.

    Referrals and Eligibility 
     
    Forsyth County Schools follow the eligibility criteria established by the Georgia Department of Education.

    Testing for gifted eligibility will occur within the windows below. Please click on the links above for more information regarding the referral process.
     
    If you would like to submit a parent referral to be considered for further evaluation, please email your child's classroom teacher to request a Gifted Referral Packet.
    The form will be emailed to you and should be completed and returned to SPES.  
    Referrals submitted at least 1 week prior to each testing window below will be reviewed by the Gifted Eligibility Team. Parent notification will be sent home following each meeting.
