    PIE Guidelines

     

     

    MISSION STATEMENT:  The mission of the VCE community is to facilitate learning by designing quality work that prepares our students for life.

     

     

    Tier 1:  Classroom: Supporting individual classrooms as a friend of the school through projects or activities with supplies, volunteers, technology support.

    • Recognitions for contributions will be noted through classroom newsletters.
    • Specific support could be identified by a specific teacher.

     

    Tier 2:  Grade Level:  Supporting grade wide activities as a friend of the school through technology support, and various contributions that support academic activities.

    Distribution of coupons that support the school mission.

    • Recognitions for contributions will be noted through classroom newsletters, and a one time acknowledgement on the school’s web page.

     

    Tier 3:  School Level:  Supporting the entire school community through a year long program that is reviewed annually.  Purpose is to improve academic performance, support educators, enrich life experiences of students, sponsor a club, student incentives.

    • Recognition is Partner in Education with a posting on the school’s website, identification in all classroom newsletters- weekly.

     

    (You may also contribute specific items without being a Tier partner on the website application.)
     
    To be considered as an applicant for a VCE partner you will need first to obtain approval from Judy Jenkins at the Forsyth County central office. Upon approval from the county office, complete the VCE Partners in Education application and identify how you would like for your business to participate. Once VCE administration accepts your application, we will add your business to our list of partners and invite you to various events at the school throughout the year.
