In order to meet the state requirements set by the College and Career Readiness Performance Index and the Bridge Bill, all schools in Forsyth County will now be using YouScience to help our students make career choices.

Unlike the old personality and interest "tests" that use self-reported answers, YouScience uses aptitude-driven “brain games” to measure students' real abilities. Variants of these “brain games” have been in use by psychometricians for over 40 years. YouScience partnered with research foundations and psychometric institutions to create a proprietary algorithm linking students' natural abilities with job skills that are critical for career success.
YouScience encourages self-discovery and more confidence in students' post-secondary choices. By combining aptitudes (what we naturally do well) AND interests (what we like doing), YouScience will match our students to their best-fit personalized career path, resulting in more personalized and successful results.
Every student will have an opportunity to participate in an aptitude-driven lesson, thereby developing an understanding of which career pathway is most relevant.   LMS Counselors will go into all classrooms to help facilitate these Bridge Bill career requirements.
