They begin at 8:00 AM in Mr. Garchow's room (1231 - Connections hallway).4-H is the youth development program of the University of Georgia Extension Service, which focuses on the needs, interests, and concerns of young people ages nine to nineteen. The aim of 4-H is to help youth gain a positive self-concept, social skills, decision-making ability, and subject knowledge needed for a productive life. Members will develop leadership and citizenship skills through individual projects, work activities, community service, and school meetings.Mrs. Allie Williams from the Forsyth County 4-H extension office will join us each month. We have a variety of activities that include making healthy breakfast items, learning forestry concepts, animal science, and plant science.Anyone interested is invited to attend.
In addition to the 4-H meeting once a month there are a variety of outside 4-H club meetings that include gardening, drama, pets, archery, and much more!Please see Mr. Garchow if you have any questions or to get information if you will not be able to attend the meeting. sgarchow@forsyth.k12.ga.us or Allie Williams awilliams15@uga.edu
