Hello, Vipers!  I am excited and honored to serve our Vickery Creek Community as your principal. I began my career in education in 2004 as a high school Social Studies teacher. I came to Forsyth County in 2016. Over that time, I have served as an Assistant Administrator and Assistant Principal at Forsyth Central High School and Hendricks Middle School.  I look forward to building great relationships with our students, staff, parents, and Vickery Community so we can lead our students to be Responsible, Respectful, Reflective, and Ready to Succeed in all they do!  Go Vipers!!

Welcome to VCMS- Home of the Vipers. Formerly, I was a middle school math and social studies teacher as well as a coach and bus driver for 14 years in Illinois. In 2001, I found a new beginning in opening up the then new Otwell Middle School as a 6th grade teacher/coach. In 2004, I became an Otwell Assistant Principal. Since 2006, I have been honored to be a VCMS Assistant Principal.

I am excited to serve as assistant principal at Vickery Creek Middle School.  I have served Forsyth County Schools since 2007 as a Language Arts and Reading teacher, Student Support Coordinator, Assistant Administrator, and Assistant Principal.  I love reading and traveling in my spare time and always look forward to new adventures.  I believe that "What we know matters, but who we are matters more."  I am looking forward to an amazing school year. I am so excited to join the Vickery Creek community as the Assistant Administrator. I have been in education for 15 years. I taught elementary school in Douglas County and Henry County before joining Forsyth County as the Educational Technology Coach at Matt Elementary in 2017. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Chris, and our two middle school children, Emily and Carson. I am looking forward to connecting and collaborating with the amazing staff, students, and community here at Vickery Creek. It is going to be a great year, Vipers!
