Chess Club is tentatively starting on Thursday, September 12th (this is a bit delayed due to gifted testing).    

• Starting in October Chess Club will meet on the first and second Friday of each month.
• The club will be held in the morning before school from 8:00-8:40.
• It is a free club to join, and all students are welcome.
• It will be held in Mr. Piper’s 6th grade science room 448.  This may move to a different location as needs arise.
• It is a wonderful club for any student.  It is for those who have been playing for years or would like to learn  
          the game.  If we have enough players we may compete in state and local tournaments.
