    Key Club Insignia

The NFHS Key Club is a community service organization that works in conjunction with the local Kiwanis Club.  Students participate in a variety of school related and community projects. Past projects in which our students have participated in include the following: Volunteering at our local elementary schools, working with seniors at assisted living centers, ABBA House, coordinated our school book drive, participated in the Forsyth County coat drive and Blessings in a Backpack and several other activities. We are expanding our service each year.  All students are eligible to participate. This is a student-led organization, and activities can be added or deleted at the desires of the students. We hope that you will consider becoming a part of a club that gives back to our community and school.

    Background of Key Club Nationally:

Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. What makes Key Club so successful is the fact that it is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through serving others. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. Today, Key Club exists on more than 5,000 high school campuses, primarily in the United States and Canada. Growth efforts, however, have taken the Key Club experience internationally to Canada, the Caribbean nations, Central and South America, and most recently to Asia and Australia.
