  • Directions to softball field:
    After entering the high school from the Peachtree Parkway entrance, follow the one-way road. Take the first left. You will pass the Performing Arts Center on your right. The road will continue through a 90 degree turn to the left and then a 90 degree turn to the right. At the stop sign turn right and then take an immediate right into the parking area.  You will walk down Fastpitch Lane which will take you around the left side of the building.

    High School Softball Interest Meeting

    On March 8th, we will host an informational meeting for rising 9th-12th graders and their parents for the upcoming Fall 2023 Softball Season. If you are interested in trying out for the high school softball team, please email southforsythsoftball@gmail.com so that we can send you the link for the virtual meeting. Also, please complete the forms below for tryouts.

    Please read the information below in regards to important dates and required documentation in order to participate.
     
    2023 Important Dates:
    -The 2023 HIGH SCHOOL tryouts for rising grades 9-12 will be a three-day process from Monday, May 1st through Wednesday, May 3rd from 5:15 PM to 7:15 PM.
     
    -Booster Club Meeting: We will have an initial booster club meeting for the high school team on Thursday, May 4th, 2023 at 6:30 PM at the SFHS softball field.
     
    -The 2022 FEEDER (Middle School) tryouts for rising grades 6-8 will be a two-day process from Thursday, May 11, to Friday, May 12, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the South Forsyth High School softball field.
     
    Important Documents (high school only):
    In order to tryout for the HIGH SCHOOL TEAM, the player must obtain a physical, which must be filled out in its entirety, signed. Then, you need to create an account with DragonFly Max and upload all of your information. 

    Please see the attached document, DragonFly Max, for information on signing up and uploading documentation. The physical packet must be completed and uploaded in order to participate in tryouts. The forms need to be uploaded prior to May 1st.

    2023 Fundraising:
    We are a non-profit organization. We do several fundraisers each year to fund the operations of our program. If you are interested in sponsoring our program, there are several options listed below. Your financial support will enable our team to participate in several invitational tournaments held statewide as well as purchase equipment which will help build our program to a truly competitive level.

    • Chick-Fil-A Raffle: The 2022 raffle dates have not been set. The raffle is for 52 meals.
