The Beta Club at WFHS is a chapter of the National Beta Club. The purpose of the Beta Club is to recognize academic achievement, promote the ideals of character, develop leadership skills, encourage service involvement, and provide technological advantages to students in grades 5-12. The Beta Club is an invitation-only, student-centered organization open to students in grades 10 through 12.
Beta Club is a nationally renowned service organization that builds character and leadership skills through school and community service opportunities. The Beta Club will recruit new members for the 2018 school year in September of 2018. Students who currently have a 3.5 GPA and are interested in joining should see Mrs. Carlisle in room 1210 for more information. Deadline for submissions is Sept 18th, 4pm.
Yearly dues for new members are $35; yearly dues for continuing members are $15. The money is used to pay national dues, buy honor cords for graduating seniors buy supplies for service projects and support charitable causes within our community.

Meetings will be held monthly in the Media Center at 7:40 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month
Service Charts for ALL members will be due at our December meeting (first semester) and at our May meeting (second semester). Failure to submit the document on time will automatically place you on probation. Members in regular standing are required to complete 15 hours of service PER SEMESTER with 1 Beta Club drive and 3 Beta Club sponsored events required PER SEMESTER. Members on probation are required to complete 20 hours of service with 3 Beta Club sponsored events and 1 Beta Club drive required PER SEMESTER.
