NAHS is designed specifically for high school students in grades 10-12. In 1978, the NAEA began the NAHS program specifically for high school students for the purpose of inspiring and recognizing those students who have shown an outstanding ability in art. The NAHS also strives to aid members in working toward the attainment of their highest potential in art areas, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.
Club Requirements include service hours, B overall average, 1 year completed high school art course, attend meetings regularly and complete an application. The club meets before school and occasionally after school for service hour projects. All service project hours are completed after school under the supervision of a teacher or administrator.
