    1.      All students should have a signed pass to the media center.

    2.     Send only 5 or fewer unaccompanied students at a time.

    3.     Students may come to the media center before school and after school and during their lunch without a pass.

    4.    Classes in session in the media center take priority over individual students on computer use.

    5.     Students may check out 2 books at a time, with a 2 week check out period.
    6. Do not send students to make up tests, per Leadership policy.  With everything that goes on in the media center, it is next to impossible for us to monitor test-takers.
    7. Substitutes may not send students to the media center, per Leadership policy.
     

     Black and white copy: $0.05. If printing multiple copies of the same page, each page after the first will be $0.10 each.

     Color prints are $0.50 per page. Students must save this item to a jump drive and bring to the circulation desk to have color copies printed.

     

    The charge for printing is waived when the students are with a teacher who has signed up to use the media center during that class period only.
     

    Laptop Carts:

    1. Check the calendar to see which carts are available.
    2. E-mail Mrs. Moree or Mrs. Payne with the date, cart number(s).
    3. Pick up cart(s) before school the day that you need them.
    4. Do NOT send a student to get your laptop carts. Your students will not be allowed to transport carts. Media center aides may pick them up 6th or 7th period if you let me know in advance, but do not allow your students to transport the carts at any time.
    5. Please use the sign in sheets on the clipboards for every class. Every student using a laptop should be listed on the form. 
    6. Carts should be returned during 7th period, or immediately after school the last day you are scheduled to have them.  
     

    Computer Lab:

    1. Check the calendar to check availability of the labs.
    2. E-mail Mrs. Moree or Mrs. Payne with the date and room number (1142 or 2146)
    3. Pick up the key for 2146 from the media center or for 1142 from the main office.
    4. The key should be returned during 7th period.

    Media Center:

    1. Check the calendar to see when the media center is available.
    2. E-mail Mrs. Moree with the date(s).
    3. Please let me know how many computers will be needed for each of your classes. I reserve 20 laptops when you sign up for the media center. If each student needs a computer and you have more than 20, I need to reserve an extra set.
    4.  If your students will be printing, please make sure you bring paper. The media center does not supply paper for the laptop carts.

    Digital cameras:

    1. Check the calendar to see which sets are available.
    2. E-mail me with the date, set number(s).
    3. Send a copy of the laptop sign-up sheet to me at amoree@forsyth.k12.ga.usor vpayne@forsyth.k12.ga.us  This form can be found in the Media Center folder on the W drive or under forms on this website. (staff login required).
    4. Pick up cameras before school the day that you need them.
    5. Do NOT send a student to get your cameras.
    6. Cameras should be returned during 7th period, or immediately after school the last day you are scheduled to have them.
    7. Teachers may check out individual cameras for use in the classroom.
          Staff members must come in to get butcher paper.
     
         Please send work to be laminated with your name on the back. Laminating will be done on Thursdays. If you need something before the next Thursday, please let us know.
