• Oratorical Contest

Sarah K., an eighth grade student here at PGMS, was selected to compete in the Finals for the Optimist Club’s Oratorical Contest. The contest, which was held on March 3, 2011, was comprised of both middle school and high school student speakers. It was certainly a fierce competition and Sarah gave a strong speech on the topic: “If I were leader of the free world, the first issue I’d address would be…”. As for the results, Sarah was selected and placed as an alternate for the two high school girls that advanced on to the regional contest. We are very proud of Sarah and her impressive public speaking talent!
