It is our goal to offer students the chance to compete with integrity and good sportsmanship while being successful in the classroom and playing field. Lambert Athletics is an important component of the school’s effort to “form the whole person.”Students will learn sportsmanship, teamwork, dedication, personal responsibility, and leadership on the playing fields. We also want our athletes to receive lessons in responsibility to their school, their teams, and themselves. The Head Coach is the head of the Booster Club. Head coaches should manage all Booster Club activities. The club officers don’t come to the Athletic Director or the Principal, they go to the Head Coach . The head coach comes to the Athletic Director. The Athletic Director goes to the Principal. This is our "chain of command", and it is expected to be followed by all coaches and Booster Clubs.
Dragonfly & Physical Forms
To tryout or participate in any sport at LHS, you must go to www.Dragonflymax.com and create a Dragonfly account. You then fill out seven forms online and upload a copy of the completed, signed and dated GHSA Physical Examination form and GHSA Medical Eligibility form to the site under the corresponding headings listed at the top of each form. You can print the blank forms to take to the doctor from the Dragonfly site, but a copy of each is linked below here for your convenience. Here is a list of the forms required to be submitted online (the first seven forms) or uploaded (the last two forms):

Once you create your account, fill out your forms online and upload the physical and ME forms to the site, we will approve you to join our school and you will see a “Ready!” message on Dragonfly. Triple Crown Award:
The Triple Crown Award is an award to further encourage students to participate in multiple activities around the school.
The criteria for the Triple Crown Award are to receive a letter in at least three of the following in the same school year: athletic letter, active participation/letter in a lettering club (as determined by club sponsor,) 100 hours of community service (as verified by adult sponsor of community service events,) and /or academic letter (earning a minimum 4.0 grade point average for the entire academic school year.) Once proper verifications are secured, the application will be reviewed by the LHS Athletic Director and LHS Principal.
Applications are available in the LHS Main Office. They will be accepted for the school year until January 31st of the following year. After January 31st, awards will be no longer be granted for the previous school year.
The award consists of a Triple Crown letter jacket patch and your name added to our plaque located on the main hallway beside the 1700 hall and is $30. If the award is earned in a subsequent year, chevrons are available for $15 (your name will also be added to the plaque again.) Having your name placed on the winners’ plaque without the patch or chevron is $10. Please see the Athletic Secretary in the main office with your completed application and pay with check made out to “Lambert High School.”
