  • 2019 Summer Math Academy

    The High School Summer Math Academy allows students to earn credit for the GSE Algebra I, GSE Geometry, GSE Algebra II, or
    GSE Pre-Calculus course they attempted and did not pass. This intense four-week program identifies areas that the student needs to
    remediate and a certified teacher provides a combination of direct instruction and online learning to help the student become skilled
    and show mastery of the content.

    When requesting your final official transcript on Parchment, please make sure you indicate the college you are attending in the Fall and pay the fee. If you do not pay the fee, your transcript will not be sent.

  • Best in Class Education Center- Free SAT Test Consultation June 1st at 10 am

    A SAT test can be a challenging step in the college admissions process.

     

    To prepare, join us on June 1st at 10am for a free SAT test, followed by a consultation providing an analysis of your results. These results highlight scores across each section's concepts and sub-concepts, identifying specific areas where you can most improve your skills.

  • Youth Leadership Forsyth Class of 2020 

    The program is offered county-wide to students seeking to further develop and enhance their individual leadership potential.

    The application is available from a counselor and also available online on our website at www.leadershipforsyth.org. 

    The criteria for applying are as follows:

    • Must be a high school junior during the 2019-20 school year
    • Have demonstrated leadership in school and community activities
    • Have a least a 2.5 GPA
    • Be interested in developing and increasing their leadership abilities
    • Express an interest in furthering their knowledge of our community
    • Fully commit to full participation at all class days
    • Have approval of their parents or guardian and your principal

    All applications are due May 17th! 

    Applications need to be turned into your counselor.

     

    no later than May 20th that would be greatly appreciated!

    The mission of the Lambert high school counseling department is to support students in maximizing their high school and post-secondary opportunities through collaboration with students, faculty, parents, and community in the areas of academics, personal/social, and careers.

    Philosophy

     The counselors at Lambert High School believe that:

    • All students have the right to be treated with respect and have an equal opportunity for success.
    • All students have the right to have access to a comprehensive school counseling program.
    • All students have the ability to learn and the right to be supported academically.
    • All students should be supported in pursuit of their post-secondary goals.

     Lambert counselors are here to help every student at LHS succeed. We work with students, parents, and teachers by facilitating conferences, helping to plan schedules, giving curriculum and scholarship guidance, and addressing personal and social needs.  We do our best to meet the needs of our students at each grade level.
