After graduating from nursing school in 1986, I began working in the emergency room setting. I was also the nursing supervisor for an area hospital on a part-time basis. I was able to stop working for a time when my children were little. I bring to the school a broad knowledge of emergency situations and treatment options for various injuries and illnesses. This is my twenty-second year as a school nurse for Chattahoochee.

If you have a student with chronic health needs, please call me to discuss the health needs for your student or contact me during the school year.  Visit the medical sites section of my webpage to print care plans for diabetes, asthma, allergies and seizures.  All medications require a Request for Medication Administration form to be completed. Please see the forms section of this webpage.

I am a member of the Georgia Association of School Nurses (GASN) and the National Association of School Nurses (NASN).   I am also a BLS (CPR) instructor with the American Heart Association as well as Stop the Bleed Instructor with the American College of Surgeons. I have the privilege of serving as a Consulting Nurse in Forsyth County Schools.
