Clinic Goal

Chattahoochee Elementary clinic's goal is to enhance the educational process by improving the health status of the students and promoting optimum health status and lifestyles for all students through the joint efforts of the home, school, and community.

A school nurse is in the clinic from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.  The nurse contributes to the education of the child with special health needs by assessing the child, planning, and providing appropriate nursing care, and evaluating the identified outcomes of care.  The nurse also monitors any medical treatment and medication given to the students while attending school.
