The After School Program (ASP) is designed to provide an educational, relaxing, and fun environment for school age students. The program will be in operation from school dismissal until 6:30 PM on the days students attend school. The program is open to all students PreK-5 who attend Chestatee Elementary School. Activities will include a snack, special interest classes, learning opportunities, recreational sports, and free play.
All Pre-K students must be picked up by 5:00 p.m. No Pre-k on Early Release Days
**Parents will be required to register their child(ren) with the program and sign the Parent Acknowledge Statement stating they understand the rules and regulations of the ASP.Enrollment
A registration form must be completed and an annual registration fee of $40.00 per child paid prior to participation in the program. Registration for families with more than one child is $40.00 for the first child and $20.00 for additional children in the family.Fees
Full Time: 4 days or more $65.00 per weekPart Time: 3 days or less $45.00 per week2nd Child will receive a $10.00 discount per weekTuition must be paid weekly and is due on Monday's prior to the week student will be attending program. A statement of your account is available upon request. Parents who reach a balance of $150.00 students will be dismissed from program until balance is paid in full.
Fees may be paid in the front office during pick up.
Checks should be payable to Chestatee ASP.
Please write your child's name, your phone number, and driver’s license number on the check. Any returned checks will go through an electronic collection agency called ChecXchange to collect any insufficient funds.Hours
The hours for ASP are from school dismissal until 6:30 PM. Students who are not picked up by 6:30 PM will be charged a $1.00 per minute late fee due at the time of student pick up.
ASP will not be open during school holidays or inclement weather days.
In the event of early school dismissal due to inclement weather or other emergencies ASP will not be open.
Please come to the front office to pick up your child(ren).
Students will be released to parents or authorized person(s) only. Students must be signed out by this person. The ASP Director is to be notified in writing of any changes. Picture IDs will be checked until the staff is familiar with parents or authorized person(s). Any unusual restrictions should be noted on the registration form. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to provide transportation. Students are not allowed to walk or ride bikes home.
Please dress your child appropriately. Students should wear tennis shoes to play on playground equipment. Unless the weather is very extreme, we try to take students outside each day.
