    Electronics

Students should not bring personal devices to afterschool. Children will not be allowed to use their cell phones. Throughout the afternoon, students will be allowed to use school devices for various activities.

    Homework/Reading

Each day there will be a 30 minute quiet time that will include snacks, bathroom and reading. It is our desire that the students enjoy their afternoon activities after they have been working hard at school all day. If you feel there is a need for your child to have additional time, you will need to speak to the director personally to set up possibilities for such a time. There will not be any individualized instruction or tutoring by the faculty.

    Clothing

Kindergarten and first graders PLEASE keep a change of clothes in their backpack.

Please dress your child appropriately for the weather and according to school regulations.

    Pre-K

Pre-K is only available for Forsyth County employees whose children attend Chestatee’s Pre-K program. Students in Pre-k should be picked up by 4:00 daily.

    Behavior Guidelines

We follow The Chestatee Way and expect our students to be:

    Responsible, Respectful, Problem Solvers

We will be utilizing the school's Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) using Chessie sticks, rewards, and consequences.

    Daily Behavior

Clip up and be rewarded with Bravo Bucks for positive behaviors

First Incident: Warning (clip down to yellow)

Second Incident: Time Out, student letter (clip down to red)

Third Incident: Next Day sitting out of activities

** A behavior that warrants a “write up” for severe behaviors is equal to a third incident. Students who receive a third “Write Up” will be discussed and possibly lose the privilege of the after-school opportunity.

To begin registration, go to My Payments Plus and complete the Afterschool Registration Form and pay the deposit.
