Hello ! Welcome to Early Release Days!

During the afternoons of the Early Release/Professional Development Day, teachers and administrators will be involved in meaningful professional learning, training, and collaborative planning to further advance and enhance their instructional knowledge, strategies, and skills.  Every Piney Grove teacher and administrator will be involved in professional learning activities that include such topics as performance-based teaching and learning, giving effective feedback, questioning techniques to promote more rigorous studies, reading and writing across the curriculum, technology integration and training, personalized learning, research-based instructional strategies, and differentiating in the classroom. 

We hope our Piney Grove parents will plan ahead and take advantage of these Early Release Days . . . when middle school students are released at 1:30 PM . . .  by scheduling your child’s doctor and dentist appointments on these afternoons in order to minimize time spent missing classroom instruction.
