2019 Competition Highlights
The Lakeside Lions Competition Cheer Squad took first place at the Longhorn Cheer Classic on Saturday, September 21st. After last week’s runner up placing, the Lions would not be satisfied and performed a flawless routine to beat out six other teams for the top spot. Fellow Forsyth County competitors, South Middle took home the 2nd place trophy and North Forsyth Middle took home 3rd place.
September 14th: Lakeside’s Competition Cheer Squad kicked off their season at the North Gwinnett Class on Saturday, September 14th. The Lions had a near flawless performance but placed runner-up behind cross town fellow competitor South Middle. Lakeside will return to the mat this weekend at Lambert HS for the Longhorn Classic.
