The recipient of this scholarship must demonstrate exceptional leadership involvement in the local DECA chapter and local community, must have been successful at regional and state competition while advancing to international competition, and must be a person of character that demonstrates respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
