I graduated with my Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. For three years I was a speech-language pathologist for children with hearing loss at the Tennessee School for the Deaf. I then became a Clinical Associate Professor at UT in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology for 15 years. My family and I moved to Milton, Georgia, in 2012, where I began my contract position as a speech-language pathologist in the Forsyth County Schools. This will be my fourth year at DCES and I love my new "home"!

I was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland. From there, I moved to Oregon and received my B.A. from the University of Oregon, then my masters from the University of Georgia. I have remained in Georgia since graduating in 2019, and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, a Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Georgia, and a certification for the Lee Silverman Voice Therapy program (LSVT Loud). I am passionate in working with the pediatric population, and love addressing expressive/receptive language delays and articulation/phonological disorders. This is my third year as a Daves Creek Dolphin. Go Dolphins!
