Jackie Busche
Jackie Busche is so excited to be joining the first grade team. Jackie graduated from the University of North Georgia this past May. This is her first year teaching, but she has done student teaching in Forsyth County Schools (Chestatee being one of them) over the past two years. Her and her five siblings have been going to Forsyth County Schools since kindergarten. Her gift to teaching is building positive relationships with students and parents. She is very excited to be teaching first grade!

Hannah Fowler
This will be Hannah Fowler's 3rd year teaching at Chestatee. Ms. Fowler received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from the University of North Georgia. She has had the wonderful opportunity to teach Title One and 1st grade at the T. She loves being a part of the Chestatee family!

Bonnie Lee
Mrs. Lee is going to have a fantastic year in first grade. After teaching preschool for many years, she decided to obtain her Masters in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University, and begin her career as an elementary teacher. This is her Fourth year teaching at Chestatee. She and her husband have two children who are both graduates of Chestatee. Walker will be a senior this year and Lucy a Freshman at Forsyth Central High School.

Sharon Nizialek
Mrs. Nizialek has been in the field of education for 22 years. She is currently teaching first grade, but has previously taught 3rd, kindergarten, pre kindergarten, EIP, and run an after-school program. She has found her home in teaching at Chestatee where both of her children have attended. She has been at Chestatee for the past 12 years.

Erin Rickett
Erin Rickett has been teaching for 11 years. She taught 1 year in fifth grade and the remainder of her teaching career has been in first grade. She has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Toccoa Falls College. She also has her endorsement for teaching gifted learners. She is very excited about the upcoming school year!

Savannah Scheyer
Ms. Scheyer is entering her 4th year teaching and her 3rd teaching at Chestatee in first grade. Her first year was spent in Oglethorpe County teaching 5th grade. Ms. Scheyer graduated from North Forsyth High School, then received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Georgia. She is currently working on her Master's degree from Georgia Southern University. She is very excited to be a part of the Chestatee family and is looking forward to a great year!

Lynne Tatum
Lynne Tatum is in her eighth year at Chestatee Elementary. This year begins her 17th year in education. She has taught 16 years in 1st grade and 1 year in 2nd grade. She received her Undergraduate Degree in Elementary Education from LaGrange College and her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Troy University. She also has her Gifted Endorsement. She loves teaching children to read, then helping them become better readers, as well as playing fun learning activities.

Amy Triche
This will be Amy Triche's 20th year teaching. Mrs. Triche graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Elementary Education. She also added her gifted endorcement to her certificate. Mrs. Triche taught 11 years in Louisiana before moving to Georgia. While in Louisiana she taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. Once she moved to Georgia she has taught 8 years in 1st grade at Chestatee. Her heart is in first grade and loves teaching children how to be life long readers.

Debra Warnecke
Debra Warnecke will be starting her 9th year at Chestatee Elementary and 5th year in 1st Grade. She has taught 4th and 5th grades, and all of her career has been at Chestatee. She completed her Undergraduate Degree at North Georgia. She then completed her Master's Degree a year later in Reading, Language and Literacy Education through Georgia State University. She then completed her Education Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction through Piedmont College. She also has her Gifted and ESOL endorsements. She is very excited about the upcoming school year.
