Mrs. Martha Cowart EIP/ESOL Mrs. Cowart holds a BA in Elementary and Early Childhood Education with an ESOL endorsement. She has previously taught kindergarten, first, and second grades in Fulton County for sixteen years and has most recently worked in Sarasota County, Florida for the past eight years as a teacher, ESOL liaison, parent involvement coordinator, and teacher mentor. Mrs. Cowart is a fluent Spanish speaker. This will be her third year at Mashburn. 750218

Mrs. Dee Ann Deloach ESOL Mrs. DeLoach graduated from Baylor University with her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She received her ESOL endorsement from Kennesaw State. She has taught 3rd and 4th grades as well as EIP and ESOL over her sixteen year career. This will be Mrs. Deloach's second year at Mashburn. 750164

Mrs. Carol Ann Dunlap ITS Carol Ann Dunlap, My name is Carol Ann Dunlap and I’m the Instructional Technology Specialist at Mashburn Elementary. This is my sixth year as an ITS so I'm continuing my journey in promoting 21st Century Learning Skills. I received my undergrad at UNG. After teaching first and second grade, I graduated with a Masters in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University. I am excited for another great year! 751145

Vicki Sexton Media Vickie Sexton is excited to be at Mashburn this year but has been with Forsyth County Schools for 17 years, with 14 years as a Media Specialist and 3 years as an Instructional Technology Specialist. Vickie holds a BBA in Marketing from North Georgia College, a Masters in Library Science & Information from Clark Atlanta University as well as an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University. She is a lifelong resident of Forsyth County with three grownup kids, one precious granddaughter and a teacup Yorkie named Bonnie.

Mrs. Amber Litzinger Media Para Mrs. Litzinger began her teaching career in 2001. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education from North Georgia College and State University. Mrs. Litzinger previously taught sixth grade in Gwinnett County for eight years and Forsyth County for five years. This will be Mrs. Litzinger’s first year at Mashburn Elementary as a media center paraprofessional.

Mrs. Courtnie Downs STEM I have been teaching in Forsyth County for 13 years. This is my second year teaching STEM at Mashburn Elementary. I love bringing hands on experiences, curiosity, and the love of learning in my classroom. 750173

Mr. Jeremy Anderson Music Mr. Anderson is a graduate of Piedmont University and also received his Master's in Early Childhood Education with a music concentration from Piedmont in 2003. He has been teaching at Mashburn since 2000 and has also previously served as a golf coach at Forsyth Central High School. Mr. Anderson has been actively involved with music for over thirty years. His primary instrument is the trombone, but he also plays guitar, bass, trumpet, piano, and some percussion. 750305

Mrs. Sarah Berger EIP Mrs. Berger graduated from Valdosta State University in 2012 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education as well as her ESOL endorsement. In 2013, she graduated with her Master’s Degree from VSU. Mrs. Berger began her career in Fulton County, where she taught fourth grade for two years. This is her fifth year at Mashburn, where she has taught 4th and 5th grades. 750165

Mr. Jeff Jager PE Coach Jager is a graduate of Augusta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education. He also earned his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University. This will be Coach Jager's eighteenth year in the teaching profession. He began his career at Mashburn in 2001 and taught here until 2007. After spending several years teaching at the middle and high school levels, Coach Jager returned home! 750406

Mrs. Danielle Fitts Art Mrs. Fitts holds a Bachelor's Degree from North Georgia College and State University in the area of Fine Arts. She obtained a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Integrating the Arts from Lesley University. Mrs. Fitts completed her student teaching at Mashburn and began her teaching career here in 2008. 750317

Mrs. McClure FCS Gifted Education Mrs. McClure holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Georgia, a Master’s from Piedmont College, and a Specialist Degree from the University of North Georgia. In addition, Mrs. McClure is certified in gifted education. This is Mrs. McClure’s second year at Mashburn Elementary, after teaching at Coal Mountain Elementary for 27 years.

Mrs. Kimberly Heglin EIP Mrs. Heglin graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2004 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She received her ESOL Endorsement in 2005 and earned a Master's Degree in Integrating Technology in the Classroom in 2007. This is Mrs. Heglin's sixteenth year at Mashburn. Mrs. Heglin is a EIP teacher. She has previously taught both first grade and second grade at Mashburn.

Ms. Katherine Colson
Curriculum Coach Ms. Colson is a graduate of Auburn University and also received her Master's and Specialist Degrees in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading/Language and Social Science from Troy State University. She is currently working on her Reading Endorsement. This will be Ms. Colson's second year at Mashburn. She began teaching in 2001. She has previously taught 3rd, 4th, 5th grades as well as EIP, and has served as a Curriculum Support teacher in Fulton County. She is very excited to serve as Curriculum Coach this year at Mashburn! 750221
