Steve Miller - Principal

My name is Steve Miller and I am thrilled to be the principal here at Mashburn. I have lived in Forsyth County since 1999 and have served in education since 1995 in the state of GA. I have served as an educator at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in Georgia. Having been a parent of Mashburn students for 22 years, I am so excited to be serving the staff and students as the instructional leader of this awesome school. I am deeply committed to building relationships with staff, students, and the community that results in a positive learning environment for students. I love being a Blue Bear 💙🧸

Jennifer Swaim - Assistant Principal

Mrs. Swaim completed her undergraduate studies at Auburn University. War Eagle!  She also holds a Master's Degree from Piedmont College and an Education Specialist Degree in Education and Administration from the University of North Georgia.  Mrs. Swaim began her teaching career in 1999 at Settles Bridge Elementary, where she taught both second and third grades.  She served as Assistant Principal at Big Creek Elementary before joining the Mashburn Team in 2009.

Brandy Mann - Administrative Assistant

I am honored to serve the Mashburn Community as Assistant Administrator. I began my teaching career in 2005 in Hall County and have also taught in Cobb County prior to transitioning to Forsyth County in 2011.  During my time in Forsyth County, I have served as a teacher,  building level leader, and a Special Education Facilitator for grades K-12.  I’m looking forward to connecting with the Mashburn Community and growing together as partners in education.
