I am thrilled to be returning to the Sharon speech team this year!  I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Florida (go Knights!) and bring more than 20 years of experience as a speech language pathologist (speech therapist) with me. I enjoy working with children who have  a variety of speech and language disorders, and I have a special place in my heart for working with students with social language impairments and autism spectrum disorders.  I am a native of Florida, but came to Georgia twenty years ago by way of Southern California.  I enjoy hiking in the mountains, kayaking and spending time with family and friends, including my two grown boys.

I am very excited to be starting my 4th year at Sharon Elementary!  This will be my 5th year working in Forsyth County Schools.

My educational experience includes earning an undergraduate degree in Special Education from Furman University in Greenville, SC in 1995. I then went on to get my Master’s in Communication Disorders at Georgia State University in 1999. I hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and have earned my Georgia Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.

My previous work experience is in Cobb County Schools, Gwinnett County Schools and at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. I love being a speech/language pathologist and working with children!

I am an Atlanta native and have lived in Forsyth County for 7 years now. My husband Greg and I have been married for 17 years and we have 3 kids going into 7th and 3rd grade in the county. We love Forsyth and feel blessed to live in this amazing area.

I graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Communicative Disorders in 1997 from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL.  I obtained my Master of Arts Degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida in 2000.  I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC's) through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).  I have also obtained my Licensure in Speech Language Pathology and teaching certificate from the State of Georgia.

Shortly after graduating with my Bachelor’s degree, I was hired by the Osceola County School District, where I worked for 8 years.  During my time in Osceola County I had the opportunity to work with all age groups, ranging from Pre-K to high school. I also had the opportunity to work with special populations such as: Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Autistic, Augmentative Communication users, Trainable and Educable Mentally Handicapped.

I attended the Forsyth County job fair and was recruited by Sharon Elementary for the 2005-2006 school year.  The 2021-2022 school year will be my seventeenth year and I am looking forward to working with the children, parents, and teachers at Sharon.

Mrs. Beth Lundberg

I began my education at Miami University (in Oxford, Ohio) where I graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Social Work.  From there, I moved to Georgia, where I attended Georgia State University.  In 1994, I graduated with a Master of Education degree in Speech-Language Pathology as well as National Honors, then went on to earn my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.  I have earned my Georgia Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and hold a current teaching certificate as well.

I worked for several years in the Fulton County school system before taking some time off to start a family, then began working at Sharon Elementary in February 2005.  My husband and I have been happily married for 28 years (but who's counting??) and we have two beautiful daughters, 18 and 24 years old.  A houseful of pets rounds us off!

For the past 26 years, we have lived in the South Forsyth area, all in one house which happens to be in the Sharon Elementary district.  It’s a joy to be able to see my students in the neighborhood and out in the community, and it allows me to connect with them on another level, which has been very exciting!  I have been able to watch some of them grow up from small children to young adults!

I am excited for the opportunity to be back for my 10th year working at Sharon Elementary! I truly feel like I work at the BEST school with the VERY BEST therapists and educators!

I began my education at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs) where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After graduation, I attended the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and earned a Master of Education degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I then went on to earn my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. I currently hold a Georgia License in Speech-Language Pathology as well as a State of Georgia Teaching Certificate.

I have been happily married to my husband, Shawn, for 23 years. We have been blessed with three wonderful children, who all attended Sharon Elementary for their entire elementary school careers.  Kyle is 19 and heading into his 2nd year at Georgia Tech. Jackson is 17 and is a Senior at Lambert.  Rebecca is 13 and is in 8th grade.

I absolutely love working with your children every day.  They bring me so much JOY! I look forward to partnering with parents and teachers to help each child be the best they can be!
