A number of resources are provided for students by our district or school. Many of these can also be utilized by students at home. Please contact your child's teacher or the Instructional Technology Specialist, Mrs. Kim Lochbaum, if you need assistance with log-in information.
Itslearning is the learning management tool used by all schools in Forsyth County. Students use the same network username and password that is used at school. Parents may obtain their own login by following the instructions on the itslearning login page found at https://forsyth.itslearning.comEach student has access to Google Drive tools through their itslearning account. In order to use Google Docs, Slides, or Sheets students must first login to itslearning, then select Google Apps from the blue navigation menu. On smaller screens, the Google Apps option is contained under the More menu. Wixie is an online publishing and creativity platform that allows students to share what they know through their writing, their voice, and their art. Wixie is accessible online at forsyth.wixie.com or through an app. To access Wixie on an Apple device, the app must be used. Students can also be logged directly into Wixie through itslearning in the Tools and Apps section. BrainPOP engages students through animated movies, learning games, interactive quizzes, and primary source activities. BrainPOP uses a different login from the student's usual one. The login information may be obtained from your child's teacher. Most teachers will have it posted on their itslearning page. Discovery Education offers student resources that bring learning to life both inside and outside the classroom with interactive games, videos, contests, virtual labs, and activities designed to help students dive deeper into a topic —and have fun too! Students should use the same username and password for Discovery Education that they use for itslearning. ClassLink provides a single sign-on into web and Windows applications, and instant access to files at school and in the cloud. ClassLink is accessible from any computer, tablet or smartphone,
